Sellerlane has four plans. Every store starts free, forever — a real storefront, secure checkout, and 0% added transaction fees on every plan. You upgrade only when you need more products, staff, or advanced features. See the full side-by-side comparison on the pricing page.

The four plans

Prices are in INR. Each plan includes everything in the plan below it, plus the features listed.

What distinguishes each tier:

• Free — an online storefront on a free yourstore.sellerlane.io subdomain, the visual theme editor, Razorpay & PayU payments, order management, and a customer list. Up to 10 products and 1 staff account.
• Starter — everything in Free, plus unlimited products, a custom domain with managed SSL, abandoned checkout recovery, and 2 staff accounts.
• Growth (most popular) — everything in Starter, plus branded email from your own domain, marketing automation, segments & campaigns, advanced analytics with a live visitor map, product reviews and back-in-stock alerts, digital products, events & gift cards, and 5 staff accounts.
• Scale — everything in Growth, plus AI-powered search & recommendations, video and 3D/AR product media, server-side conversion pixels (Meta, GA4, TikTok), the customer self-service portal, priority support, and unlimited staff accounts.

Note

The plan limits above describe what each tier is meant to include. Today there is no hard block — you won’t be cut off mid-task if a count drifts over a boundary — but you should be on the plan that covers the features and team size you use. We’ll help you land on the right plan when you upgrade.

Billing cycle & the yearly discount

You can pay monthly or yearly. Yearly billing is 10× the monthly price, so you effectively get 2 months free.

For example, on Growth:

• Monthly: ₹2,499/month → ₹29,988 across a year.
• Yearly: ₹24,990 billed once → you save ₹4,998 (two months).

You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time; the change applies from your next billing cycle.

How to change plans

Because in-admin billing isn’t live yet, upgrades, downgrades, and cycle switches are done manually by the team — and they’re quick.

1. Email [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp at +91 96998 69986.

2. Include:

   • Your store domain (e.g. yourstore.sellerlane.io or your custom domain).
   • The plan you want (Free, Starter, Growth, or Scale).
   • Monthly or yearly.
   • Your GSTIN, if you’d like it on the invoice.

3. We make the change — typically the same day — and confirm by email.

4. You’re billed for the new plan. Paid features unlock as soon as the change is applied.

Upgrades take effect as soon as we apply them. Downgrades take effect from the next cycle so you keep the paid features you’ve already paid for until then. Switching plans never touches your store — products, orders, and customers stay exactly as they are.

Transaction fees

Sellerlane charges a 0% platform transaction fee on every plan, including Free. We never take a cut of your sales.

You do pay your payment gateway’s standard per-transaction rate (the MDR). That fee is charged by your connected gateway directly to you, not by Sellerlane, and it depends on the payment method and provider agreement. See Payments for how to connect a gateway and where those rates come from.

GST on your subscription

Plan prices are listed in INR. Indian GST may apply on top of the plan price per the prevailing rate. When you upgrade, supply your GSTIN and we’ll put it on your invoice so you can claim input tax credit where eligible.

Caution

Automated subscription invoicing isn’t live in the admin yet. Until it ships, contact [email protected] for a GST invoice for any plan charge. For GST on your own sales (the orders your store takes), see Taxes instead — that’s separate from your Sellerlane subscription.

Staff accounts as a plan dimension

The number of staff accounts is one of the things that differs by plan: 1 on Free, 2 on Starter, 5 on Growth, and unlimited on Scale. A staff account is a person you invite to help run the store, with their own login. You manage them under Settings → Users — see Staff accounts to invite teammates and set their access.

Cancelling

You can stop a paid plan at any time. Your store falls back to the Free plan at the end of the paid period, and your data — products, orders, customers, content — is retained.

What changes when you’re back on Free:

• Custom domain — Free includes only the yourstore.sellerlane.io subdomain, so a connected custom domain is a paid feature. Keep it connected by staying on Starter or above.
• Branded email — sending transactional email from your own domain is a Growth feature; on Free, email goes out from the default Sellerlane sender.
• Advanced features — marketing automation, advanced analytics, self-service, and other paid capabilities revert to what the Free plan offers.

There’s no separate vacation or pause mode — to pause costs, cancel down to Free; your store stays live and your data is kept, and you can upgrade again whenever you’re ready.

FAQ

Is there a trial for paid plans? The Free plan is the trial — it doesn’t expire, and there’s no card required. To try paid features, upgrade for a month; monthly billing has no lock-in.

Do I lose data if I downgrade? No. Data is never deleted on a plan change. Items created on a higher plan are preserved; you simply won’t have the paid features that need the higher plan.

Who pays payment processing fees? Your connected gateway charges its own per-transaction rate, paid directly to it. Sellerlane adds nothing on top, on any plan.
